Let it loose
Release your rebellion
Get a tattoo
Fuck shit up.
Wow. Don’t you feel better now?
Are you more free or less?
Have you sinned or not?
That pit of magma you have
Is there for a reason,
A caused phenomenon.
How will you erupt?
You can burn down your village
Or fertilize the fields.
It’s all lava though,
So you’ve got to be careful.

Put away your lights
Come join us in the dark
Free yourself from your mental chains
There is life out here.
You will find it less engaging
but you will notice
The light within you will grow brighter
As the external glare fades away
And those around you begin to glow
When you’re not chasing glimpses of the sun.

I know, I know
What I am to love the most
I do, I’m sure
Wondering at this hard choice
Crush me, try it.
I am who I want to be.
I try so hard
Desperate to be the real me.
Who are you? Why do you think
All of this is yours to keep?
